"…the greatest thing, you'll ever learn..."

“Heart of a Vagabond” experiments with variations of eden ahbez’s classic “Nature Boy”.  This show implores audience members to interpret the meaning of the song’s lyrics while putting its own unique spin on the piece.

There is a distinct bohemian feel to this show; audience members will essentially find themselves wandering through the music as it shifts in between the variations and the original melody of “Nature Boy”. The music begins with chilling vocals, setting a somber mood before transitioning into a high energy opener that weaves in and out of the original melody throughout the show.

As the show progresses, it also focuses on certain sections of the lyrics at a time, thus paving the way for a plethora of possibilities such as section features, stereo music effects, long phrases to develop ideas, subtle moments, different styles, unorthodox visuals, and more that allow for a more powerful and enticing performance.  Ultimately, this show highlights the message that whatever and however your journey through life may be, “The greatest thing you’ll ever learn is just to love and be loved in return”.

IMPORTANT: You must obtain the rights to "Nature Boy" by eden ahbez (George Alexander Aberle) in order to purchase and perform this show. Contact us with any questions.
